In 1982, when we opened Country Club, we did it because there was nothing like it in Tasmania. In fact, Country Club was Australia’s first integrated resort, a tribute to our pioneering spirit. We wanted people to experience that ‘far away’ feeling without having to travel too far away to feel it. We wanted to create a place where everyone felt they could go. Where anyone felt welcome.
So that’s exactly what we created here. A welcoming place, not too far away, that still feels a world away from the everyday.
The Henry Jones is Australia’s first luxury boutique art hotel, offering genuine immersion into Tasmanian culture through art, history and an authentic hospitality experience. The Hotel integrates some of Hobart’s oldest colonial waterfront warehouses, and the site of the famous IXL Jam factory. Here, our forefathers laboured to create the Tasmania of today.

Odyssey Gaming Services is a well-respected Licensed Monitoring Operator (LMO) to the Queensland Club and Hotel Industry. Originally established by the Queensland Hotels Association in 1998, in December 2017, Odyssey became a wholly owned subsidiary of Federal Group.
At Odyssey, we are putting the latest digital tech to work for the hospitality and electronic gaming industry. Our Goal is to provide the best possible in-venue technology solutions to assist our clients to increase productivity, improve customer experience, and reduce the costs of doing business.
We are also cultivating a diverse ecosystem of third parties that we believe will lead to greater product innovation and choice for our customers. Our Tech and Innovation Team works in collaboration with Clients to discover ways to improve existing products and services as well as identify opportunities to create new and exciting ones.
A Tasmanian-owned and operated business, TASkeno is a fun and easy-to-play numbers game. TASkeno is all about the anticipation, excitement, and shared wins of all who play.
In the classic game, players select up to 15 numbers and then watch the in-venue game screens to see if their lucky numbers come up. A total of 20 numbers are drawn from the 80 available on the game grid. Players match their chosen numbers to the numbers drawn for a chance to win.
TASkeno is available in over 160 venues across the state and the Tasmanian Gaming Commission regulates the operation of TASkeno in Tasmania.
